Hi - Iām James Henderson. My work revolves around understanding the intended and unintended consequences of the global agricultural production system and how the production, trade, and consumption of agricultural commodities intersect.
I am an experienced professional in project management, engagement, and advocacy and have a keen ability to effectively communicate in dynamic and cross-cultural contexts, establish and maintain networks, and manage stakeholders in new and challenging environments. I provide a wide range of services to organizations looking to start new projects and initiatives, or expand to new regions and sectors in the agriculture, supply chain and Bioeconomy development space. Whether it is representing your organization at a workshop for the kick-off of a new project, providing input at different stages of a proposal, or producing policy briefs and reports for project deliverables, my background as a researcher, project manager, and agricultural extensionist can help your organization produce policy relevant outcomes, delivered in English, Spanish, or German.
I graduated with a BSc. from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, an MSc. in Environmental Governance from the University of Freiburg, and am completing a PhD in Agricultural Sciences at the Center for Development Research at the University of Bonn and am currently based in Cologne, Germany.
